I+E led the Stage C Exemplar Design for Strule Shared Education Campus, a ground breaking project for the Department of Education NI, marking its largest ever commitment to shared education. This unprecedented project facilitates the coming together 6 post–primary schools (4,200 pupils) on the 130acre former Lisanelly Army Barracks with a total project value £130m. The I+E led team developed SSEC’s Shared Education Model which inspired the innovative exemplar design of core schools and shared facilities, based on STEAM and Project Faraday principles.
